About Us

The Furman Cycling Team is a club sport at Furman University in Greenville, Sc. Founded in 2006 by a few students passionate about riding, we have won over four national collegiate Division II titles including the road race and the team time trial

As a club/team, we are involved in recreational and competitive rides/events, such as road rides, meetings, collegiate races, and mountain bike rides, etc. Schools with cycling clubs and teams race together, the only main difference is that teams have paid staff. We race in the SECCC (southeastern collegiate cycling conference).

Joining the club/team is a simple as emailing Samuel Douglas at samuel.douglas@furman.edu. There are no try-outs, fees, or limits to who can be involved.  If you are interested in cycling, or just the idea of it, come join us today
